Viaplay Cup: Hibs 4 – 2 St Mirren

St Mirren go out of the Scottish League Cup after a six-goal thriller with a late double from Hibs Martin Boyle to seal a win for Hibernian.

St Mirren had taken a first-half lead with a strike from Scott Tanser at 43 mins.

Hibs Youan & Vente hit back at 52 and 54 min mark and at 76 mins in St Mirren’s Baccus, who was a substitute made it two all.

Martin Boyle scored at 80 mins, which was goal number five and in extra time (90+3) he scored again to make it Hibs 4-2 and put the game out of reach of the Buddies.

Saints exit the Viaplay Cup with Bibs marching on.
