Match report: St Mirren 0 – 1 Kilmarnock

Today game was full of hard work and endeavour from both teams but neither side could trouble the others goal until Kilmarnock’s Armstrong pounced on a loose pass.

He went Watkins down the wing to cross the ball into the Saints penalty box where were the Kilmarnock captain Vassell turned the ball high into the St Mirren goal.

The 2nd half started much like the first with chances at a premium.

St Mirren’s Olusanya had two good attempts at goal one which went narrowly past the post and the other which hit the crossbar.

St Mirren needs just 1 point from the last two games to secure European football next season.
