Today game was full of hard work and endeavour from both teams but neither side could trouble the others goal until Kilmarnock’s Armstrong pounced on a loose pass.
St Mirren take a comfortable away victory, putting three past hosts Dundee.
St Mirren went into the match knowing that a win would put the 5 points in front of Dundee in the league and make them the favourites to clinch that 5th European spot.
St Mirren conceded five goals to Kilmarnock on Saturday, after being two goals up.
St Mirren could go four points ahead of Kilmarnock today if they take the win at Rugby Park.
